This camcorder reviews website is designed to guide you through the maze of jargon associated with HD camcorders and guide you to buying the HD camcorder which will be best for your own needs.

The features page perhaps explains this jargon best, detailing differences in SD card sizes, types and speeds. New terms like ACVCH, BI CMOS, 1080p and many more are explained and evaluated in plain language.

The Format page will tell you about the difference in formats, and the Brands page will list every brand of camcorder with a quick link to any brand, and the Gadgets and Gismos page suggests camcorder accessories which will make your video camera usage easier and get you better video results.

Quick Bio of the Site Owner
Art Speck has been recording with video cameras since before the camcorder was invented, and before the introduction of the digital video camera. 30 years ago I purchased my first video camera, and for the next 20 years made a good living by recording all manner of events professionally in the UK and USA.

Now retired, I still have a keen interest in the HD video camera scene, owning 4 camcorders now, but always aspiring to own the latest and best digital camcorder. I attend 2 video clubs locally as well as being an active member of the I.O.V.

Never in History has the public demanded such high specifications from a gadget than they do now with HD camcorders. Possibly this has something to do with cell phones having the ability to double as a digital video camera, albeit in low resolution.

So the search is on for the best digital camcorder in 2011, and coupled with the advent of HD (high definition) television sets, the time has come when everyone wants to record their own masterpiece with a HD video camera.

That’s why a site giving trusted impartial information about HD camcorder reviews such as this one is so valuable, reviewing HD Pocket Camcorders, HD Consumer and Prosumer Camcorders, and even the lower end of the HD Professional Camcorders under $5000. (There are 18 Professional Camcorder Reviews alone) + over 200 more.

HD video camera manufacturers have certainly risen to the challenge in 2011, with nearly all of the top brands introducing new digital video camera models with some wonderful technology built in, all claiming to be the best digital camcorder available.

At HD camcorder reviews, we find that HD camcorders all appear to have reduced in size to the point that apart from the tiny pocket cams, there almost seems to be a standard size for all HD video camera models of popular consumer HD camcorders. At the same time, the new features available now seem to be endless.

Confusion must reign among the masses of digital video camera users, so we have brought together all the HD camcorder reviews of the best digital camcorder available from every manufacturer, and arranged the site with one click navigation to help you select the BRAND, FEATURES, FORMAT and PRICE best suited for your needs.

By clicking on ARTICLES in the top header you may find an article or two which will go into fine details of camcorders and comparisons between different camcorders in the same price bracket.

Use the SITEMAP for a quick route if you already know which HD video camera might meet your requirements. We’ve even added a VIDEO WALL where hopefully you will find HD camcorder reviews on video of the HD camcorders you are interested in. You can also click on the TAG CLOUD for quick and easy access.

The important thing about a VIDEO camcorder review is that it most likely has been recorded by a new owner of that camcorder, so it’s maybe a useful way of finding real opinions about the best digital camcorder for you.

You can also see what other HD digital video camera buyers find hot by checking out the most viewed panel at the foot of our home page, or check out the most recent posts in the sidebar.

Each page on this HD camcorders site starts with a quick summary of the best digital camcorder which will perhaps be best suited as a family consumer model, then follow in more depth for those requiring more detailed HD camcorder reviews. READ OVER 200 HD CAMCORDER REVIEWS ON THIS SITE.
